Quickest: in the app
-
Older family member or adult: Settings, My family, Leave the family.
-
Child's phone: the parent's PIN is needed (Kids settings), or the parent removes the phone in the Family dashboard.
-
Organiser: remove each linked phone in the Family dashboard (Linked phones).
This deletes straight away what that phone shared in the family: its member entry and name, the numbers added for it, its shared calls and its protection switch. The phone then forgets the family and its key.
Or by email
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my QuietGuard data". Tell us the phone's make and model and roughly when you installed QuietGuard, and we will reply to help find the right records. We delete them within 30 days and confirm by email. We never ask for passwords.
What is held online
-
Family mode: the encrypted family list, phone names, numbers added for a family member, a child's shared calls and an older family member's shared call details (all encrypted on the phones), plus roles, on/off states and times.
-
The device record: when the free trial started, whether Premium is active, when the app was last opened and a notification token. No names, numbers or contacts.
-
Repeated-call alerts from a child's phone (number and count), if call sharing was on.
What is not affected
Purchase records kept by Google Play and RevenueCat, which the law requires to be kept, and app statistics kept by Google for up to 14 months. A subscription is cancelled in Google Play, not here: deleting data does not cancel it. Contacts, Activity and Protection history were never online: remove the app or clear its storage to delete them from the phone.
